We are so excited to introduce the newest member of our family, Sydney Carter! Sydney's Chinese name is Yan Panpan. Panpan means "for the hope that she can go well". She is 4 years old and was born on July 6, 2010. In her file, it says that she was left outside the Welfare Institute in Nanping City, China when she was about 6 weeks old. Her medical reports and developmental reports say that she is right on target physically and developmentally for her age.
She is described as shy and quiet but can be stubborn! She has a close bond with her care givers and plays well with other children.
We can't wait to find out more about her! We will keep you updated in the coming months on how things are going and where we are in the process.
