I just wanted to share with you how God has provided for us recently just exactly when we needed it. We had a fee due for Sydney's adoption and did not know quite how we were going to pay for it, when a check showed up in the mail for exactly the amount we needed! And it showed up on the day we had to pay the fee! And it was money we weren't expecting at all! Throughout this process it has become abundantly clear to Scott and I that God works all things out in His perfect timing. We are still learning to trust in His provision and his great plans for us. These verses in Matthew remind us not to worry about what will happen tomorrow because God will take care of us!
Matthew 6: 31-34
31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
