New pictures of Sydney

 

We asked our agency if they could get some more pics from Sydney's orphanage and here they are!
Our home study visit went well. One more thing to check off the list! Now to work on collecting the documents for our dossier.

 

 

Pre-approval from China

We got an email today that our paperwork has been received in China and based on what we have sent in so far, China has pre-approved our intent to adopt Sydney! This is one step closer in this long process of paperwork and approvals. Tomorrow, we will have our home study interview with a social worker from Holt International in Eugene. After that, we will start working on our dossier which is a collection of paperwork that will be sent to China for final approval of Sydney's adoption. After our dossier is submitted, we will then have a several month wait while it is being processed in China. Then, we will get our travel dates! The China Program Director at Small World believes it will be October or November when we will get to travel to pick up our new little girl!

In the meantime, we will continue to learn our lesson of patience that God has been teaching us throughout this journey.
