Update

Just a quick update. ..we got our final invoice from our agency and we owe another $3000. Other than that, we are funded! We also got Sydney's immigration approval and applied for her visa. It looks like travel will be around the first of December.  Please keep us in your prayers as we travel to get our little girl!

Fully funded!

We are so excited to let you all know that at this time, our adoption is fully funded! Through the generosity of many donors, fundraisers, savings, etc, we have finally reached the mark! We said all along that if God wanted us to adopt that he would have to provide, and He came through like He always does! God is so faithful!

At this point, we are waiting for the U.S. immigration service to approve Sydney's citizenship application. That will probably come through next week. After that, we will get an invitation to travel from China! We are also working on getting our Chinese visas.

It is still looking like we will be traveling in November, not sure yet if we will be home in time for Thanksgiving. We may be gone for Grace and Scott's birthdays as well. We should know in the next 2-3 weeks when our actual travel dates will be. Then we can book our flights! That will be an exciting day!

We will keep you posted on the details and will also post regular updates while we are in China.
